Job Description

IT company. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field with 6+ years of experience.
Lead monitoring, analysis, and response to security alerts and incidents using SIEM tools to detect and mitigate threats.
Investigate complex security incidents, perform root cause analysis, and drive incident response and resolution.
Design, implement, and maintain security controls including firewalls, endpoint protection, and access management systems.
Conduct advanced vulnerability assessments and lead remediation efforts across systems and applications.
Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and best practices across the organization.
Lead identity and access management (IAM) processes including role-based access control and privileged access management.
Perform continuous system monitoring, log analysis, and threat hunting to identify and prevent security risks.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure system architecture and application design.
Participate in and lead security audits, risk assessments, and compliance initiatives including NIST, ISO 27001, and SOC 2 frameworks.
Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance on security best practices.
Using SIEM tools, security monitoring tools, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, IAM, cloud security (AWS/Azure), log analysis, and vulnerability assessment tools.
May analyze and improve enterprise security systems, working individually or coordinating with cross-functional teams.
Travel and/or relocation to various unanticipated sites within the U.S. may be required.
